Overview
The Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) is granted to eligible foreigners who wish to live in Singapore for an extended period. Local sponsors can use this platform to conveniently submit applications for their family members and track their status online.
Eligibility
As a foreigner, you are eligible to apply for an LTVP if you fall under any of the following categories:

| Spouse of a Singapore Citizen (SC) | For greater clarity on your chances of getting an LTVP, take the Pre-Marriage LTVP Assessment (PMLA) together with your intended SC spouse before marriage. Couples who complete the PMLA before marriage benefit from a shorter LTVP processing time of 6 weeks, instead of the usual processing time of up to 6 months. The PMLA is free. Thereafter, your spouse will need to log in using his her Singpass to sponsor your application. |

ICA considers factors such as the individual's family ties to Singaporeans, economic contributions, qualifications, age, family profile and length of residency, to assess the applicant's ability to contribute to Singapore and integrate into our society, as well as his or her commitment to sinking roots.
ICA has no affiliation with any external migration agency/commercial entity that claims to be a Singapore immigration specialist/consultant or partner. ICA does not support or endorse services by self-proclaimed professional immigration consultancy service providers for LTVP applications.Singpass Requirement
All applicants must review the application form before submission. To review the form, applicants need to log in using their Singpass or unique login credentials (provided by ICA for those ineligible for Singpass) to make their declarations.
Approval for a Singpass account application may take 2 to 5 working days. We recommend that sponsors/applicants start an application only after all eligible applicants have successfully registered for a Singpass account.
LTVP Renewal
Please submit your LTVP renewal application at least 3 months before your current LTVP expires. The renewed LTVP will be valid from the date of issuance (upon payment of the issuance fee). ICA will not carry forward any remaining validity from your current LTVP to the renewed LTVP.

ICA will notify successful applicants of any other applicable fees.
Processing Time
ICA processes most applications within 6 weeks, provided you submit all required documents in order.
Some applications may take longer to process. An LTVP application by a foreign spouse of an SC takes up to 6 months to process. If you and your spouse completed the PMLA before your marriage, we will process your LTVP application within 6 weeks.
Application Status
You will receive your application outcome via email. You can also check your LTVP application status online via MyICA Portal or enquire below.

FAQs
The Ministry of Manpower issues the Dependant's Pass (DP) to dependants of eligible work pass holders. Meanwhile, ICA generally issues the LTVP to dependants of eligible SCs or PRs.
If your LTVP renewal application is being processed and your current LTVP is expiring, you will receive an email notification about the auto-conversion of your LTVP to a Short-Term Visit Pass (STVP).
If you did not receive any notification from ICA during the renewal application process, you may cancel your LTVP by submitting the Cancellation of LTVP form.
