Overview
Eligible visitors are issued a Short-Term Visit Pass (STVP), typically as an electronic visit pass (e-Pass), upon entry to Singapore as a tourist, for social visits, or medical treatment. Use this e-service to extend your STVP online and check your pass validity via the e-Pass enquiry portal.
Visitors issued with an STVP shall not engage in any form of employment (paid or unpaid), business, profession, or occupation in Singapore during the validity of the STVP, unless they hold a valid work pass issued under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act 1990 or are engaging in Work Pass Exempt Activities with approval from the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
Eligibility
You can apply to extend your ICA-issued STVP if it has 14 days or less remaining.
ICA assesses applications holistically based on your reasons for extending your stay and whether you have immediate family members who are Singapore Citizens (SCs) or Permanent Residents (PRs). The extension period granted is subject to ICA's assessment.
You will receive the application outcome at the email address you provided. Approved applications do not require a physical endorsement.
If you hold an STVP issued by MOM—such as for confinement nannies or following a Work Pass cancellation—please visit MOM’s website or contact [email protected].
